About our founder Grandmaster Jun C. Yoon: Doctorate in Sports Management, the only 9th degree black belt in the Bay Area. World Games, Korean Nationals, and USA Nationals Gold Medalist, USA National team head coach, Referee Instructor US Olympic Committee, Referee Chairman US National Collegiate TKD Association.
Our World Class Instructors are practicing athletes with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certification and hold degrees from the Korea National Sport University, UC Berkeley, and UCLA.

A part of the Mountain View High School athletic department, Spartans Sports Camp (SSC) was originally the brainchild of John Payne, a former athletic director at MVHS. The camp’s direction was taken over by MVHS alum Doug Wiersig (‘05), who later enlisted Ricky Appler (‘07). The two worked together with the athletic department of MVHS to secure funds and promote the camp. Soon recruiting future counselors to help promote, Doug and Ricky hired high school students as counselors and began the inaugural day of camp on June 11th, 2012. The camp ran every week from then through the week of June 27th, not including the week of the Fourth of July. The camp continues to benefit the athletic program and has donated over $210,000 since it's inception in 2012. Parents & campers continue to be thrilled with the experiences they have with Spartans Sports Camp, allowing for the camp's continuation. This is now the sixth year of Spartans Sports Camp.

With roots in the state dating back to the 1800s, State of Mind brings to life the long-held dream of our family, all of whom were born and raised locally. Pizza is our specialty. We were awarded World’s Best Non-traditional Pizza at the 2017 International Pizza Expo. We make our pizza with slow proofed dough, California cheese, and organic Bianco Dinapoli tomato sauce. However, we aren’t just a pizzeria; State of Mind offers much more. We have a diverse menu with plates to share, fresh salads, sandwiches, wings and a few desserts. We make our food from scratch by hand, featuring local ingredients.
