Compassion Week brings people of all ages and abilities together for a week in October to build a strong, compassionate, and empathetic community. Through volunteer opportunities, participants expand their understanding of local and global needs. Operated in partnership with multiple local faith communities, the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation, Fremont Bank, and County of Santa Clara Supervisor Joe Simitian, Compassion Week encourages individuals, groups, and families to engage in acts of service. Since its inception in 2012, over 21,000 volunteers have participated in Compassion Week activities, supporting more than 85 nonprofits.

Darling doodle celebrates the joy of creative exploration through process-based art and sensory play. Founded by Lauren Kim, a current Los Altos School District second grade teacher with extensive experience in early childhood education, darling doodle offers a magical space where children can create freely without worrying about the mess. Our philosophy centers on the creative journey rather than the finished product, helping children develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and artistic expression. We offer weekly art classes, birthday parties, special events, and themed summer camps that are now enrolling for 2025. Olha is also a Champion of the Bay Area Floral Cup 2023, an exhibitor at the prestigious Bouquets to Art at the De Young Museum, San Francisco, and a participant in the internationally renowned Fleurs de Villes flower events.
