"Bringing our Community Together to Share the Warmth of the Holiday Season"

​Since 1977, the Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade has celebrated the beginning of the Holiday Season in Downtown Los Altos. The theme “A Child’s Holiday Fantasy” comes to life with colorful floats, local high school marching bands and costumed characters -- all lit up with thousands of lights. And of course Santa and his reindeer! ​

The parade is produced by the Los Altos Festival of Lights Association, a non-profit, all volunteer organization of community members. Funding is provided by community grants and donations from our generous spectators.
