Planted in 1996 with Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Marcia Francis vineyard sits on a sloping hillside of Santa Cruz Mountains, along the Peninsula. Warm days are cooled by the coastal fog rolling over the hills. In the evening a perfect climate allows the grapes to thrive in our organic farming practices.
Each year the grapes are harvested by hand and the wine is placed in French oak barrels for 18-20 months. After bottling we let it rest for at least a year or two. The outcome has been a wine that you can taste the care given to the vineyard and the craftsmanship in the production from grape to bottling. We hope you enjoy it!

Mentor Tutor Connection (MTC) is a community organization that trains, supports, and places volunteer tutors and mentors in local schools. MTC tutors work with students at our local elementary and middle schools (Los Altos School District and Mountain View Whisman School District); MTC mentors work with students who attend the three high schools of the Mountain View Los Altos High School District.
MTC is funded by the generous donations of caring individuals in our community and through grants from supporting organizations.
In partnership with local schools, our staff screen, train, place, and support volunteers who work directly with students. We place almost 200 volunteers who work directly with more than 450 students in our schools each year.
