The Los Altos Library Endowment is dedicated to strengthening the long-term infrastructure of our local Los Altos libraries.
The Los Altos Library Endowment invests in enhancing the library’s physical spaces to create welcoming places for the community to learn, gather, and connect. These investments also prepare the library for the evolving needs of future generations. Together, these projects help ensure the library continues to serve people of all ages. By enhancing and expanding library facilities, the Los Altos Library Endowment creates flexible, inviting spaces for everyday use and special programs and events. These spaces support quiet reading and study, children’s activities, gatherings, and community events.
These investments reinforce the library’s role as a shared place for curiosity, connection, and community.

Los Altos Lodge #712 was formed on February 28, 1951 and the Constitution and Charter were presented later that year on October 26, 1951 by then Grand Master Louis C. Drapeau.
The lodge was formed by men from Lockheed and the first Master was W.E. Jones. We initially met in the Brown Room of the Palo Alto Masonic Temple. In 1965, the lodge purchased our current facility from the First Baptist Church, and after significant remodeling the old church became our lodge.
Today we hold many activities for our members and their families. The Lodge also presents a scholarship to a senior at Los Altos High School, as well as an honorarium to the LAHS Teacher of the Year. And we are proudly present each year at the Los Altos Arts and Wine Festival to provide Temple tours and talk about Masonry in general.

The Los Altos Town Crier, a locally owned weekly newspaper, is located at 138 Main Street in the picturesque village of Los Altos. Published every Wednesday since 1947, we're the only newspaper to offer in-depth, local news relevant to the affluent communities of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. Mailed directly to households in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and selected areas of Mountain View, we have thousands of paid subscribers among the weekly circulation of 16,500. Hundreds of subscribers in neighboring communities and out-of-state also receive our news paper. After more than six decades of publishing weekly, the Los Altos Town Crier is a local institution.

We (Los Altos Vineyards) craft artisan wine from our Vineyard & Winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains (Byington, Los Gatos) and 2nd high-elevation vineyard in Alexander Valley (Tin Cross, Sonoma). After 4 years operating our satellite tasting room (Los Altos), we located a new space (across the street), prompting a new concept. It LOOKED like a Gallery with hardwood floors, white walls, lofty ceilings, natural light. The plan: sell our wine + luxury accessories, artfully displayed. What a focal point one of Oleg's large-scale, stainless-steel pieces would make!
