Since 1977, the Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade has celebrated the beginning of the Holiday Season in Downtown Los Altos. The theme “A Child’s Holiday Fantasy” comes to life with colorful floats, local high school marching bands and costumed characters -- all lit up with thousands of lights. And of course Santa and his reindeer!
The parade is produced by the Los Altos Festival of Lights Association, a non-profit, all volunteer organization of community members. Funding is provided by community grants and donations from our generous spectators.

Mentor Tutor Connection (MTC) is a community organization that trains, supports, and places volunteer tutors and mentors in local schools. MTC tutors work with students at our local elementary and middle schools (Los Altos School District and Mountain View Whisman School District); MTC mentors work with students who attend the three high schools of the Mountain View Los Altos High School District.
MTC is funded by the generous donations of caring individuals in our community and through grants from supporting organizations.
In partnership with local schools, our staff screen, train, place, and support volunteers who work directly with students. We place almost 200 volunteers who work directly with more than 450 students in our schools each year.

Primrose Admissions College Consulting helps guide students and families through the college admissions process, easing navigating of this challenging landscape. Our mission is to empower students to reach their college aspirations. We offer a strategic approach to the admissions process and believe that the college application journey teaches students crucial life skills. We aim to ease anxiety and foster confidence throughout the student's college admission journey, focusing on finding the right college fit. We are dedicated to assisting students and their families throughout the college admissions journey—a period that can be quite daunting and stressful.
The Rotary Club of Los Altos was chartered in 1949 and has more than 170 active members, men and women ranging from age 25 to 90+.
The Rotary Club of Los Altos is a nonpolitical, non-sectarian fellowship of inspired business, professional and community leaders, guided by high ethical standards. As Rotarians, we work in proactive ways to change lives in our community and around the world. Our skills and contributions are leveraged through Rotary International, to accomplish high-impact projects.
Since 2010, multi-award-winning S.A.M has helped children aged 4–12 in more than 20 countries develop knowledge, skills and a positive attitude toward learning to succeed in school and beyond. S.A.M learners enjoy and excel in Math and English, develop strong numeracy and literacy skills, and positive attitude towards learning.

Our World Class Instructors are practicing athletes with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certification and hold degrees from the Korea National Sport University, UC Berkeley, and UCLA.
